  • What Can I Do to Fit the L-Bracket into the Housing of My Pop & Lock Handle on My 1998 Mazda B2500?
    I am sorry to hear about your tailgate lock! If the L-bracket is not sliding into the passenger-side of the housing, filing down the handle, even if it solves the fitment issue, can make the handle frustratingly off-balance. For this reason, I recommend replacing the lock/handle. For your 1998 Mazda B2500, I recommend either the # PAL2300 (steel handle) or # PAL2310 (plastic handle).

  • Can Pop & Lock Power Tailgate Lock for 2006 Ford Ranger be Unlocked With a Key
    Good question, but the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock - Power # PAL8200 will only fit if your 2006 Ford Ranger does not have a manual lock on the tailgate, which means there isn't an option to use this lock with a key. Since you have the plastic handle on your '06 Ranger, you can use the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock for Plastic Tailgate Handle - Manual # PAL2310 (Black) to add a lock which you can unlock with a key.     I have tailgate locks that were designed to work with the OEM tailgate handle on your 2004 Ford Ranger, but I do not have a complete replacement locking tailgate handle. For a tailgate lock, we have three options for your truck. For a manual lock, you can use the Pop and Lock Custom Tailgate Lock, # PAL2310 (Black) or # PAL2310C (Chrome).     I think that you are going to have the most secure tailgate in the country by using both a tailgate lock like # PAL9900 in addition to a lock at the handle, # PAL2310. And if you have a tonneau cover on the bed you can lock things in the truck bed just by locking the handle (as long as the cover is the type that can only be opened if the tailgate is down). This set up will work great for you.

  • Tailgate Lock for 2004 Ford Ranger without Power Door Locks
    We have tailgate locks that will work great on your 2004 Ford Ranger that does not have power locks like the Pop and Lock part # PAL2310 but since you do not have power door locks you wouldn't be able to install the Pace Edwards PowerGate Electric Tailgate Lock # 311-LK350 and use it with a key fob. It requires wiring to power door lock circuits for activation and since your vehicle does not have that feature it wouldn't be possible.

    We do have tailgate lock options for the 1999 Ford F-150 but none from Bully that fit. I have included a link to the locks that will fit your truck. There are different locks for differently equipped trucks. If the truck has factory power locks you can use # PAL8250 if you want to be able to lock the tailgate with the power door locks.
